Al-Furjan, or just Furjan, is a vibrant neighbourhood and popular residential district headed by master developer Nakheel. Al Furjan aims to build a friendly villa community for its residents and is located between Sheikh Zayed Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road.

Al Furjan is an upscale neighbourhood, gated community, and property development in the Jebel Ali district, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Nakheel Properties heads the development, and Azizi Developments owns the largest number of residential buildings. It borders Jebel Ali Village and is near Ibn Battuta Mall, the Gardens, and the site of Expo 2020, which is one of its major draws. Sheikh Zayed Road and Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road are also very accessible from the community.Homes in Al Furjan are typically built in Al Hejaz (inspired by traditional Arabic architecture), Dubai (local architectural style), or Quortaj (Islamic/Mediterranean architecture) styles

The community is made up of a shared network of pathways and amenities. Furjan will benefit from linked cycle routes running through Discovery Gardens, Garden View Villas, and Al Furjan, resulting in a 40-kilometer cycle track for the communities. Al Furjan’s property types range from over 4,000 apartments, houses, hotels, and commercial spaces, with more under construction.

Al-Furjan is Arabic for a ‘collection of homes’ or'small village', and the sales pitch is a connected, friendly community environment with houses built in small clusters connected by a series of walkways and parks. According to the plan, grocery stores, restaurants, park areas, sports facilities, and a cycling track will be within walking distance of each residence.

Al Furjan also includes a central complex, Masakin Al Furjan, which includes apartments, a convenience store, a café, and a leisure club with a pool and gym. Membership in the latter is open (at a cost) to everyone living in the community.

Al Furjan Pavilion, which opened in December 2016, houses a Spinneys supermarket, 10 food and beverage outlets, 24 shops, a Medicentre clinic, and a car park for more than 300 vehicles. The complex also has a sports and recreation hub with a restaurant, swimming pool, sports court and gym

At its launch in 2007, two schools were planned for Al Furjan.The Arbor School opened in 2018 as a preschool through sixth-grade institution and has been adding year groups each year since its inception.The Arbor School teaches from the National Curriculum for England.It is considered the first eco-school in the UAE. Al Furjan South has a branch of Jebel Ali Village Nursery, which caters to children ages 18 months to 4 years. Arcadia Education announced it would open its third location in Al Furjan in August 2021 and would offer up to year eleven.
